The 10 Commandments of a Christian Home Based Business
VIII.
Thou Shalt Serve Others.
When you find something you
believe in and truly want to see others helped with your service or
products you are on your way to a successful business. When your
motives are pure towards your potential clients, they will sense that
and be drawn to your integrity. You will need to be ready to offer
them something of value, often BEFORE you make a big sale or recruit
them into your business.
"Give, and it will be
given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and
running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you
use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:38
Having an attitude to assist
someone in their quest to fix or accomplish something, whether they
end up doing business with you or not, is the attitude to cultivate.
When you serve others with this kind of attitude it will bring results.
How do you do this? Well,
obviously it depends upon the type of business you are building, but
simply try to find out what a potential customer or client wants, and
help them take the next step. It might be information. It might be a
free sample or consultation. It might be referring them to someone or
something else that could be a better fit for them than what you have
to offer.
"You can have everything
in life that you want if you will just help enough other people get
what they want." Zig Ziglar
