We need to hit this topic head on - and expose the lies and distortions around having a "home" business. There are actually very few businesses that you can run almost exclusively from your home. |

Many of those proclaiming that that they can show you how to work from home are at the very least stretching the truth. Most businesses should be described as "run around to appointments, showings, hotel meeting, training seminars, etc." business. |

I was working my business one day and my 5 year old daughter came running into my office and let me know I had to come out to the backyard NOW! I followed her outside and she showed me a butterfly coming out of a cocoon. |

The whole event only took 5 minutes, but I would have missed it, and many more like it through the years if I wasn't working my Christian home business. |

When you are doing your research for a Christian home business, or looking for the adjustments you can make to your marketing strategies that allow you to be home more in your current business - be sure it is a "home" based business. |

If you have to go to meetings outside the home on a regular basis - it is not a home business. If you have to deliver products or perform services outside your home - it is not a home business. |

Take your time in your research. Ask questions. I've spend the last several years working from home - meaning in my home 95%+ of my time is spent where I live, with my family; at my computer, on the phone, etc. |

Another component you want to consider as a Christian Home Business is to what degree your family members can actively be involved. Every family is different, but if you want one that would include others working with you, look for that dynamic. |
|

This wisdom may seem obvious, but it is not. Most of the "labels" you are looking at are not honest about the "home" part. I've coached many who thought they were starting a home business - only to discover they were never home! |
