In addition to the fact that word of mouth advertising is powerful marketing, at least 4 other considerations can come into play. |

#1. Higher end products take more "education" for the consumer to want to buy. When a customer sees a similar product at Walmart, you need to educate. |
|
|
|
|
The product your selling may be worth twice as much as what Walmart offers, but it takes good education and servicing your clients to build a business. |

#2. Consumable goods need customer loyalty, and the network marketing model strengthens that dynamic versus traditional marketing methods. |

#3. The owners simply like the marketing model. Many owners of network marketing companies are previous independent reps of other companies. |

#4. There is also less up front capital needed in the marketing budget to launch a product. Reps will get paid as they sell, rather than Companies needing to heavily invest before anything gets to the shelves and sells. |
