There are people who legitimately work as employees from home. Most of them though have had a relationship of trust with the employer and it is an extension of that trust and track record. Very few are offered even part of their work to do at home from the start.

My advice? If you have a skill that you enjoy like word processing, creating spreadsheets, creative writing, making sales calls, etc - you will be far better off in the long run to start up your own business, market your skills and build your own clientele.
